About PHATTT
PHATTT is a way to send somebody a card that could only have come from you: your photographs, your words, a piece of music, a model they can turn in their hands. It arrives as a link. Nothing to install, on either side.
Three kinds of card
A greeting card for a birthday, a holiday or a thank-you. A wedding invitation, with the couple, the day and the venue, and its own templates and opening animations. Or a free design — a blank canvas where you place text, photographs, stickers and drawings anywhere you like.
You decide who opens it
Anyone with the link, for something you are happy to have forwarded. A private link, so that only the person you sent it to can open it and a guessed address gets nothing. Or named people, who have to be signed in as themselves. You are told when it is first opened, and they can write back.
We cannot read your cards
This is a design decision, not a promise of good behaviour. Our own staff tools count cards and cannot open one; there is no screen anywhere in this company that lists what you wrote. The only exception is a card somebody reports to us with its link, or one a court orders removed, and every such removal is recorded. The privacy policy says it in full.
A card is sent, not stored
Every card has a lifetime you choose when you make it. When it ends the card stops opening and is permanently deleted, along with the media that was only ever in it. There is no archive and nothing to restore from — so keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose.
About the writing help
The builder can draft a message and generate a background for you. It does that through an AI provider you choose, with your own API key, billed to you by them — we do not resell it and we do not mark it up. If you would rather write your own card, nothing here needs a key at all.
