Cards are written by users, not by us
Everything in a card — its words, images, audio, video and links — is created and published by the user who made it. We do not write it, commission it, check it, endorse it or adopt it. Any opinion expressed in a card is that user's opinion and not ours.
We do not pre-screen cards and, by design, our staff tools cannot open them. Consequently we make no representation that any card is accurate, lawful, current, safe or fit for any purpose. If a card matters to you — an invitation with a date on it, an address, a payment request — verify it with the person who sent it.
We are not a party to what a card is about
A card may announce an event, make a promise, or ask you to do something. Any arrangement it describes is between the sender and the recipient. We are not a party to it, we do not guarantee that an event will happen or that a promise will be kept, and we have no liability arising from it.
Beware of requests for money or credentials
We will never ask for your password or your payment details by card, email or message. A card asking you to send money, to sign in somewhere, or to reveal personal information should be treated with suspicion and reported to us at [[CONTACT EMAIL]], along with the link.
Links and embedded media
A card may contain links to other websites and media hosted elsewhere. We do not control them, we do not review them, and we are not responsible for their content, their security, or what they do with data you give them. Following a link takes you outside the Service and out from under this notice.
Anything produced by artificial intelligence
Where a user has composed a card with AI assistance, that assistance came from a provider the user chose and paid for with their own key. We do not supply, control or supervise it. Output of that kind may be factually wrong, may resemble existing work, and may be unsuitable for the occasion. Treat it as a draft written by a stranger, and do not rely on it for anything that matters.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site or in any card is legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and it must not be relied on as such. Ask a qualified professional.
Availability, and the fact that cards expire
The Service may be unavailable at times, planned or otherwise, and we do not guarantee that any card will be reachable at any given moment. Separately and more importantly: every card has a lifetime, and when it ends the card is permanently deleted. We do not keep an archive and cannot restore a card after that. Keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose.
Limits
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Everything else in this notice is subject to the limitations of liability in our Terms of Service.
Telling us about a problem
To report a card, send its link and what is wrong with it to [[CONTACT EMAIL]]. The link is essential: we cannot search or browse cards, so a report without one leaves us nothing to act on.
